On October 11, 2025, in Hanoi, the Debate Competition organized by the LawAsia Forum took place in a lively and professional atmosphere. The event brought together many teams from leading law universities across Asia, delivering impressive debates filled with intellect, confidence, and persuasive reasoning.
On this occasion, Dr. Le Thi Dung, Lawyer – Director of Siglaw Law Firm, was honored to be invited as a member of the International Judges Panel and Arbitration Council of the competition. Notably, she was one of the few Vietnamese female lawyers entrusted with this role, marking a proud recognition of the professionalism and reputation of Vietnamese legal practitioners within the regional legal community.
Joining Dr. Dung on the judging panel were distinguished legal experts:
- Mr. Jason Wo – Vice President of the Taiwan Bar Association;
- Associate Professor Prashanta Bhuson Barua – Honorary Lawyer of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh.
The debate featured insightful arguments, sharp reasoning, and thought-provoking questions from the judging panel. The teams demonstrated strong preparation, solid legal knowledge, and quick analytical thinking in addressing complex legal scenarios.
Following the event, Dr. Le Thi Dung expressed her pride in being part of such an inspiring and intellectually rich program, as well as in witnessing the passion and commitment of the young participants. Her participation as a judge was not only a personal honor but also a meaningful contribution to the recognition and development of Vietnamese lawyers and law students on the path toward deeper international integration.
