On the afternoon of January 23, 2026, in Hanoi, the 10th Anniversary Ceremony of the Vietnam Business Lawyers Club (VBLC) was held. This significant milestone marks a decade-long journey of building and developing a prestigious professional forum for lawyers specializing in international trade, investment, and global economic integration.
The event was honored by the presence of numerous leaders, experts, and delegates from regulatory bodies, professional organizations, and legal training institutions, including:
- Dr. & Lawyer Do Ngoc Thinh – President of the Vietnam Bar Federation (VBF);
- Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thu – Director of the Judicial Academy;
- Ms. Dang Kim Hoa – Deputy Director General of the Department of Judicial Support, Ministry of Justice;
- Mr. Vu Anh Duong – Vice President of the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC);
- Along with a large number of members and guests who are prestigious domestic and international lawyers.
A 10-Year Journey – The Spirit of Innovation and Integration Speaking at the event, Lawyer Tran Tuan Phong, Chairman of the VBLC, reviewed the club’s more than a decade of formation and growth. Over the past 10 years, the Club has chaired and coordinated over 140 in-depth seminars, workshops, and training programs on international trade law, investment, M&A, commercial arbitration, and international dispute resolution. These efforts have significantly contributed to enhancing the quality of the legal workforce in Vietnam amidst global integration.

The VBLC has also proactively built an extensive cooperation network with regulatory agencies such as the Department of Judicial Support (Ministry of Justice), the Judicial Academy, and VIAC, as well as leading law and economics universities. Furthermore, it has collaborated with major corporations such as Vingroup, EVN, PVN, Viettel, BIDV, and Vietcombank to organize activities closely linked to business practices.
At the ceremony, Dr. & Lawyer Do Ngoc Thinh, President of the Vietnam Bar Federation, highly appreciated VBLC’s practical contributions to specialized training, connecting the international business lawyer community, and elevating the status of the Vietnamese legal profession on the international stage. The President also emphasized VBLC’s strategic role in expanding professional relations with foreign bar associations and supporting the Federation in international events, most notably the 38th LAWASIA Annual Conference in Hanoi.
Dr. & Lawyer Le Thi Dung – Director of Siglaw Firm, in her role as a member of the Executive Committee, has also made significant contributions to the Club’s professional and training activities, representing the voice of Vietnamese lawyers in major legal forums and international cooperation.

Entering its IV Term (2025–2028), the VBLC is committed to continuous innovation, strengthening domestic and international cooperation, and aligning training activities with practical practice to build a professional, courageous, and deeply integrated community of international business lawyers.

The ceremony concluded with a warm networking session in an atmosphere of solidarity and confidence in the Club’s new milestones in the journey ahead.
